     In today’s society, in today’s world, there are many faux pas. Ways we are taught to act, ideas, thoughts and processes that are inoculated into our heads and hearts. Peers, friends, and family, those that have the greatest of influences over our lives, put these ideologies into play. And all of these people, parts, and pieces make up us. They make up who and what we are. They make up that we stand for.

     And our greatest achievements and proudest moments in life are those when we stand up and together for a cause that is right and true. We congregate as a force, a power, to move mountains and change the world. And as that great power we take the fate of the world in our hands to shape the minds of those around us. We are here to shape our community’s views on homosexuality, in a society where it is a constant up hill battle against the highest of powers that lead our great nation.

     We are here as a power, a moving force to not only provide support and welcoming to those who seek it in our society of persecution, but to promote tolerance throughout our community. In hopes that one-day we can have a land of tolerance. And allow all people of all different races, genders, nationalities, AND sexual orientations to truly be free.
